The Valby skid grapple is hinged and enables the operator to sideshift the grapple for placing the load in the desired location. This feature is very useful when the grapple is used on the landing for stacking. The side shift also enables the operator to grip material at any angle. You do not have to maneuver the tractor exactly in line with the logs.
The side shift feature also makes picking up of the trees easier as one does not have to line up the tractor with the stems .
